Getting started
Import an existing brand
Use an official website or social presence to import a Brand Profile, Products, and Brand media.
Last reviewed September 24, 2026
The brand creation screen currently offers two shipping paths: Import my existing brand and Start with a blank canvas. Choose import when the brand already has an official website or social presence and you want Fuzzbucket to build reusable context from that evidence.
Before you begin
Have at least one of these ready:
- your official website;
- an official social profile;
- a public page that accurately represents the brand.
Using more complete, current sources gives the onboarding flow better material to compare and confirm.
Choose Import my existing brand
- Open the brand creation flow and select Import my existing brand.
- Share an official website or social link when Fuzzy asks for a source.
- Follow the conversation while Fuzzbucket visits sources, maps relevant pages, and organizes the evidence it finds.
- Answer clarification questions and review selectable visual directions when they appear.
- Confirm Brand Profile sections, Products, and useful Brand media before onboarding finishes.
The flow is conversational and adapts to the available evidence. The exact questions and review cards can differ by brand, so focus on whether each proposed item is accurate rather than expecting a fixed checklist.
Review visual and product choices
Onboarding can present source visuals, palette directions, visual anchors, generated logo options, Products, and media proposed for saving. Choose only items that represent the brand you intend to use. A polished image can still be the wrong reference, and an inferred product can still be outdated.
When Fuzzy asks a question, answer the uncertainty it identifies rather than adding unrelated brand history. Voice dictation may be available for longer answers; review the transcription before submitting it.
Resume an unfinished import
If a previous onboarding run is still available, the path-choice screen can offer to continue it or start over. Continue when the source and intended brand are still correct. Start over when the initial source, brand identity, or import goal was wrong. Do not start a second import simply because background processing is still visible.
The onboarding flow can continue processing parts of the brand in the background. You can return to the dashboard when the interface says it is safe to do so, but some marketing-context and planning actions remain unavailable until onboarding finishes.
What the import builds
The import can create:
- a Brand Profile with identity, visual guidance, audience information, and public presence;
- first-class Product records that can be reused in later campaigns;
- saved Brand media with stable identities and source provenance;
- onboarding documents and durable context available from Brand Brain and Knowledge.
You can start working before every optional detail is complete, but generation quality generally improves when the active brand contains accurate, reviewed context.
If you do not have a brand to import, use Start with a blank canvas. Read What is Fuzzbucket? for an explanation of how these objects fit together.
